Hello! My name is Dessi and I Iive in Chicago. I have my bachelor's degree in elementary education (Northeastern Illinois University) but I am passionate about teaching all ages! I most recently taught English to children in Tuscany, Italy (Bell Beyond), while the year before that I taught in schools in northern France (TAPIF). Although I am a native English speaker, I am also fluent in French, Italian, and Bulgarian. I currently teach Italian to children on Saturdays at the Language Academy, located in Park Ridge, IL, and I also am a French/Italian tutor at Northeastern Illinois University. When I'm not working or studying some new language (there can never be too many), I enjoy spending my time hiking, painting with my watercolors, and playing my ukulele.
