Melanie was a fantastic teacher- friendly, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and organized. Even though it was a class on food, every lesson was different. She even helped me with grammar that I had been struggling to understand as well as extra listening and writing exercises. It is well worth the time!! Now I am reading cook books and food labels in Italian, and I have plenty of information to keep practicing in my studies!

It's been fun, easy, affordable and as we can't attend classes in person... read more because of COVID, we have adapted to an easy online routine. I'll be honest, Italian isn't easy, especially when the brain is less elastic past 50...but Melanie makes it fun and is encouraging -- Valeria is always there if we have a question and her promptness is appreciated. We've tried lots of other "quick fixes" like DuoLingo and even expensive "sure to work" learn Italian on your own methods, but THIS is what WORKS: Talking to a human! And these are good humans with lots of skills. We highly recommend them.

She... read more communicates often and well in advance. She easily accommodates the needs of the individual and the class, and she is always accessible and resourceful when questions arise. She even arranged a special summer session for our class with another teacher. She is a native speaker, lending special insight into learning techniques, as well as a local, which helped tremendously when we were first arrived in Naples.
